Countering the proliferation and misuse of conventional arms and ammunition.
Forty per cent of violent deaths are committed by firearms. The illicit proliferation and misuse of conventional arms contributes to death and destruction around the world every day. UNIDIR’s Conventional Arms and Ammunition Programme works to curb these impacts.
