Theò is an Associate Researcher at UNIDIR’s Conventional Arms and Ammunition Programme.

His research focuses on weapons and ammunition management, and countering the threat posed by improvised explosive devices, as well as conventional disarmament processes in conflict and post-conflict settings, with a specific interest in the role of regional organizations and sub-state actors.

Prior to joining UNIDIR, he worked with the United Nations Regional Centre for Peace, Disarmament and Development in Latin America and the Caribbean, the United Nations Development Programme and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Andorra.

Theò holds a PhD in International Security and Defense from the University of Grenoble, a master’s degree in International Expertise and Risks from the University of Lyon 3 and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Europe from the University of Avignon. He speaks English, French, Occitan, Spanish, and Catalan.
