UNIDIR and the Organization of American States (OAS) are pleased to invite you to an interactive, side-event exploring how the 11 UN norms of responsible State behavior in cyberspace can be interpreted and implemented in a gender-responsive manner. The discussion will center on actionable strategies to ensure that these norms address gender inequalities, promote inclusivity and contribute to advancing gender equality in cyberspace.
The event will feature a presentation highlighting key findings from an upcoming OAS-UNIDIR study on “Gender Analysis of the Framework of Responsible State Behaviour in Cyberspace”, a joint effort by the OAS and UNIDIR. The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion, where experts and practitioners will share reflections and ideas to translate research findings into action.
