As part of the joint efforts to enhance cooperation and dialogue on arms control and disarmament in the ECOWAS region, the ECOWAS Commission, in collaboration with the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR), hosted the ECOWAS-UNIDIR Regional Seminar on Disarmament. The hybrid event, which is the first of an annual series, brought together global subject matter experts to discuss past and current developments across a spectrum of issues, as indicated by the session titles below.
