Ioana Puscas
Senior Researcher Security and Technology
Ioana Puscas is a Senior Researcher at UNIDIR’s Security and Technology Programme. Her work covers various aspects of AI and autonomy, including ongoing multilateral processes.
Ioana’s areas of expertise include artificial intelligence, machine learning, military human enhancement, emerging technologies and technological convergence. Before joining UNIDIR, Ioana was Senior Research Officer at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, working on emerging technologies.
She holds master’s degrees from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and from Central European University. She speaks English, French, Romanian and basic Russian.
