Sarah Grand-Clément is a Senior Researcher working across UNIDIR’s Conventional Arms and Ammunition Programme and UNIDIR’s Security and Technology Programme.

Her work examines the intersection of technology with conventional arms, exploring both the benefits that technology can bring to prevent violent conflict and enable peace, as well as the challenges and threats it can pose to international security. Her expertise spans new and emerging technologies, defence and security issues, as well as futures and foresight.

Sarah also acts as Coordinator of UNIDIR’s futures and foresight research falling under UNIDIR’s Futures Lab. Prior to joining UNIDIR, Sarah was a Senior Analyst at RAND Europe, where she conducted research on defence and security issues for public and third sector policymaking.

She holds a Masters of Science in Arab World Studies.
