Lenka Filipová
Lenka Filipová is a Coordinator with the Security and Technology Programme at UNIDIR. Her work focuses on the international dimensions of cybersecurity, with particular expertise in cyber diplomacy, confidence-building measures in cyberspace, and the gendered dimensions of technology.
In this role, Lenka has supported the work of multilateral processes – most notably the Open-Ended Working Group on ICTs (2021–2025) – as well as Member States and regional organizations through policy-oriented research, briefings and workshops. She also manages UNIDIR’s Cyber Policy Portal and AI Policy Portal, which are designed to enhance transparency, information-sharing and dialogue within the international community.
Lenka previously held positions in international organizations and government, including as Advisor to the Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic to the United Nations in New York and Geneva, as well as spending over three years working as a journalist.
Lenka holds an MA in International Relations and a BA in International Relations and European Studies. She has also completed the Cybersecurity: The Intersection of Policy and Technology executive programme at the Harvard Kennedy School. She speaks three languages, including English.
