Sarah is a Research Assistant for the Space Security and WMD Programmes at UNIDIR.

She holds a dual master’s degree from the Middleburry Institute of International Studies at Monterey and Moscow State Institute of International Relations in WMD Nonproliferation, Nuclear Policy and Global Security. She has worked with the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies, the Russian Center for Policy Research (PIR Center), and the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Nonproliferation. Sarah is a recipient of the IAEA Marie-Sklodowska Curie Fellowship.

Her research focuses on the political and legal implications of arms proliferation in outer space, the nuclear-space security nexus, and the history and future development of global space policies and strategies.

She speaks English, Spanish and Russian.
