In preparation for meetings of the Biological Weapons Convention over the course of 2021, UNIDIR is hosting a brief BWC Orientation course for national delegates. The event will provide a basic introduction to the BWC and some of the key issues facing the Convention. It will also serve as an opportunity for delegates to informally ask experts in the field any questions they may have related to the BWC.
The event will comprise of several short segments covering topics including international cooperation, science and technology, and transparency and compliance. UNIDIR will moderate the event.
