Rueben Dass

Rueben Dass is a Fellow at UNIDIR’s Conventional Arms and Ammunition Programme. He is also an Associate Research Fellow with the International Centre for Political Violence and Terrorism Research, a specialist unit at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He specializes in terrorist use of new technologies, namely 3D-printed firearms; drones; and chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and other academic and media platforms. His works have also been quoted by international media namely The Telegraph, Al-Jazeera, Le Monde, Bloomberg and The Guardian.

Born in Malaysia, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Imperial College London. In 2020, he graduated with a Master of Science degree in Strategic Studies with a Certificate in Terrorism Studies from Nanyang Technological University.
