Anne-Laure Souissi-Sans

Anne-Laure Souissi-Sans is a Project Coordinator for the Middle East Weapons of Mass Destruction Free Zone project. She has over fifteen years of experience with the United Nations in the field of peace and security, serving at headquarters in New York and Nairobi and in field operations. Anne-Laure has worked globally on conflict prevention and resolution efforts, including in Afghanistan, Egypt, Sudan, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. Most recently, she contributed to UN good offices in the Great Lakes region and to efforts to prevent violent extremism in East Africa.

Anne-Laure holds a Master Degree in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva, and a B.A. in History from the University of Neuchatel, Switzerland. She has published on the mission of the OSCE in Kosovo and on the work of International Committee of the Red Cross in Eastern Europe after WWII. Anne-Laure speaks English and French, and passable German and Spanish.
