Nicole Kwan Kiu Leung

Nicole Kwan Kiu Leung is a Graduate Professional with UNIDIR’s Strategic Communications Unit. She holds a Master’s degree in International and Development Studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute, with a specialisation in Conflict, Peace and Security. She also has a Bachelor of Social Sciences in International Relations and Media and Cultural Studies from the University of Hong Kong, graduating with First Class Honours.

Prior to joining UNIDIR, Nicole was part of the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform, where she contributed to events and communications of Geneva Peace Week. With a strong focus on making communications accessible and inclusive, she contributed to toolkits and publications produced by ILGA World as a Research Intern. She has also previously served as a Diplomatic Intern with the Permanent Mission of Costa Rica.

Nicole speaks English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and has basic knowledge of French and German.
