Julia Heringer

Julia Heringer is a Team Assistant at UNIDIR. She is responsible for a wide range of office support and administrative functions for multiple programmes.

Prior to joining UNIDIR, Julia worked at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research. She has also interned at the UN’s Joint Inspection Unit and the British Consulate-General in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her diverse background extends to roles at the Olympic Games in Brazil and The Walt Disney Company in the US. Julia holds an M.A. in Globalization and Development Studies from Maastricht University, in the Netherlands, where she was a UM Holland High Potential Scholarship holder. She also holds a B.A. in International Relations from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Julia speaks English and Portuguese.
