Henri Myrttinen is a Fellow at UNIDIR’s Integrated Approaches ProgrammeHe is a researcher and consultant on issues relating to gender, peace and security, with over two decades of experience in the field, including working with numerous non-governmental organisations, national governments, as well as UN and other multilateral agencies.

Henri has been involved in the design, implementation and evaluation of National Action Plans on Women, Peace and Security in several Asian and European countries. He is the author of the UNIDIR report Connecting the Dots: Arms Control, Disarmament and the Women, Peace and Security Agenda and a co-author of the UNIDIR publications Closing Gaps: Strengthening the Women, Peace and Security Agenda through Arms Control and Disarmament and Toolkit: Addressing Weapons-Related Risks in Women, Peace and Security National Action Plans.
