What Would Success Look Like at the 2020 NPT Review Conference?

The United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) is pleased to invite you to a lunchtime panel discussion event, the second in a series of events the Institute is hosting on the upcoming five-yearly Review Conference of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) in New York from 27 April to 22 May.

This event will discuss the ingredients for success for the upcoming NPT Review Conference. It will commence with a panel of discussants from the United Nations Secretary-General’s Advisory Board for Disarmament Matters. Confirmed speakers include Ambassador (retired) Lewis A. Dunn, Anton Khlopkov, Director of the Moscow-based Center for Energy and Security Studies, Margot Wallström (Former Foreign Minister of Sweden), and Ambassador Leena Al-Hadid (Permanent Representative of Jordan to the UN and other international organizations in Vienna). UNIDIR Director, Dr. Renata Dwan, will moderate the panel, with a question and answer session with the audience to follow.

Sandwiches and light refreshments will be available prior to the start of the event.
