This breakfast event organized by UNIDIR’s Security and Technology Programme will bring together, for the first time in Geneva, the Chairs of the two intergovernmental cyber processes established by Member States through A/RES/73/27 and A/RES/73/266: an Open-Ended Working Group and a sixth UN Group of Governmental Experts. Both processes started their activity in 2019, and are now in their full stride, continuing their work in parallel in 2020. Through a moderated discussion, the Chairs will provide the audience with an update on both processes, discussing synergies, opportunities and reflections on the consultations with regional organizations and other stakeholders.
