In 2013, many important space security processes were concluded or passed key milestones. As such, it is an opportune time to build discussion on the direction of the international community in developing further space security instruments. The conference aims to provide an overview of current initiatives, an update on the implementation and adherence to existing instruments, and a view of the way ahead.
