Samuele Dominioni
Dr Samuele Dominioni is a Cybersecurity Researcher in the Security and Technology Programme at UNIDIR. His work focuses on the international dimensions of cybersecurity, with particular expertise in cyber diplomacy, cyber capacity-building and confidence-building measures in cyberspace.
In this role, Samuele supports multilateral processes, Member States and regional organizations through policy-oriented research, briefings, workshops and seminars. His work aims to advance dialogue, shared understanding and cooperation in the field of international cybersecurity.
Before joining UNIDIR, he was a Research Fellow at the ISPI Center on Cybersecurity and worked as a consultant on projects supported by international institutions, including the Council of Europe and the European Commission.
Samuele holds a PhD in International Relations and Political History from Sciences Po (Paris) and the IMT School for Advanced Studies (Lucca). He has been a visiting PhD researcher at Columbia University’s Department of Political Science and a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bonn.
He is fluent in English, French and Italian.
