Killian Pernet is a Graduate Professional with UNIDIR’s Integrated Approaches Programme, contributing to research and policy activities on disarmament, international security and gender perspectives within multilateral frameworks.

He holds a Master’s Degree in the Law of International Organisations from the University Jean Moulin Lyon 3, focusing on human rights and public international law. Killian also holds a double Bachelor’s Degree in French and English-American Law from CY Cergy Paris University, and completed the third year of his Bachelor’s degree at Reykjavik University, focusing on European and International Law.

Prior to joining UNIDIR, he interned at the Delegation of the European Union to the Council of Europe as a Legal Trainee, reporting and monitoring on human rights and social rights developments within the Council of Europe and the European Court of Human Rights, and on European policy discussions concerning democratic resilience, foreign information manipulation and emerging security challenges within European multilateral frameworks. He also interned at the UN Office of Legal Affairs in the Treaty Office, gaining hands-on experience in international treaty practices, and worked within NGOs and in the private sector, focusing on AI regulation.
