Jessie Lim

Jessie Lim is an Associate Expert working across UNIDIR’s Space Security and Security and Technology Programmes as a UN Junior Professional Officer. Her professional experience spans disarmament and international security, strategic foresight, emerging technologies and regional security affairs.

Prior to joining UNIDIR, Jessie held several positions in Singapore’s Ministry of Defence, including in the Defence Psychology Department, Communications Research and Development Office and Defence Policy Office. In the Defence Policy Office, she worked on Association of Southeast Asian Nations affairs as Manager in the Regional Policy Branch and later on foresight and emerging technologies as Assistant Director in the Strategic Futures Group. She also served at the Permanent Mission of Singapore to the United Nations in New York, where she covered disarmament and international security issues. Jessie holds a BSc in Psychology from University College London and an MSc in Psychological Research from the University of Oxford.
