Is Past Prologue? Examining NPT Review Conference Commitments

The United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) is pleased to invite you to a lunchtime symposium, the fourth in a series of events the Institute is hosting on the upcoming five-yearly Review Conference of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) in New York.

This event will examine the differing views on previous commitments made within the framework of the NPT Review Conference. Dr. Tariq Rauf, who has served as Senior Advisor to the Chair of Main Committee I in 2015 and to the Chair of the 2014 PrepCom, will share his perspectives of these issues.

The panel will be moderated by UNIDIR Director Dr. Renata Dwan, with a question and answer session with the audience to follow.

Sandwiches and light refreshments will be available prior to the start of the event.
