Navigating Space: Charting a Course for a Sustainable Space Environment

The UN Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR), Secure World Foundation and Project Ploughshares—with support from the Government of Belgium—invite you to attend a special workshop entitled “Navigating space: charting a course for a sustainable space environment”.

As the UN First and Fourth Committees meet to discuss cross-cutting issues relevant to space safety and security, this workshop will present a series of interactive panels including: an in-depth look at current dynamics and disruption in the space environment, new technologies that are changing space activities, and how new technologies can inform multilateral discussions on PAROS.

UNIDIR encourages the participation of representatives and experts specialized or interested in issues pertaining to space security and disarmament.
