Bruno Martini

Dr Bruno Martini is a Researcher at UNIDIR’s Space Security Programme. He holds a PhD in Aerospace Sciences from the Brazilian Air Force University, where he conducted research on strategic and aerospace foresight through the Simulations and Scenarios Laboratory.

Prior to joining UNIDIR, he was a Fellow Researcher with US Space Force Space Delta 13 (Education) and a Visiting Scholar at the George Washington University’s Space Policy Institute. An oceanographer by training, he holds a master’s degree in Coastal and Oceanic Systems from the Federal University of Paraná and was a Visiting Fellow at the US Naval Research Laboratory at NASA’s Stennis Space Center. His research interests include space security and sustainability, strategic foresight, emerging technologiesa and the non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
