Jiayue Lin

Jiayue Lin is a Graduate Professional with UNIDIR’s Security and Technology Programme, with expertise in international law in cyberspace and international humanitarian law.

She holds two master’s degrees in public international law: one from Wuhan University, where her thesis explored State practices and contributions to international rule-making in cyberspace; and another from Leiden University, with a thesis focusing on the right to internet access. She also earned a bachelor of laws from the Law School of Renmin University of China.

Jiayue has worked as a research assistant at the Wuhan University Institute of International Law and at the Global Law and Strategy Study Center of the Law and Technology Institute, Renmin University of China. She also serves as a student editor for the Wuhan University International Law Review.

Jiayue is fluent in Mandarin and English.
