Clarisse Bertherat

Clarisse Bertherat is a Researcher at UNIDIR’s Weapons of Mass Destruction Programme, focusing on the national implementation of the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention. Her expertise includes international law, international humanitarian law and project management.

Prior to joining UNIDIR, Clarisse worked for various international entities in the field of public health and disarmament, including the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, UN Office for Disarmament Affairs and ICH. She holds two master’s degrees: one in international and European law from the University of Nice, and another in international project management from the University of Lyon.

Clarisse speaks French and English, as well as intermediate Spanish.
