The United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) welcomes you to a side event to the UN Open-Ended Working Group (OEWG) on security of and in the use of ICTs. The event will take place on Thursday 11 July 2024, 13h15-14h30 EDT, both online and in person at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The side event aims to present and discuss UNIDIR’s recently published Compendium of Good Practices on Developing a National Position on the Interpretation of International Law and State use of ICTs, as well as to engage in a constructive conversation with representatives of Member States that have gone through the process of developing a national position on the application of international law in cyberspace.

Participants
The side event is open to all OEWG delegations as well as members of the multistakeholder community. Please note that UNIDIR is not able to grant access to the United Nations Headquarters for those who are not already in possession of the UN accreditation.
