Safeguarding Space for All: Security and Peaceful Uses

To safeguard the benefits derived from peaceful activities in space, to introduce the concept of “space security”, and to advance consideration of the prevention of an arms race in outer space (PAROS) by the Conference on Disarmament.

Partners: Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Canada, Henry L. Stimson Center (United States), Project Ploughshares (Canada), Simons Centre for Peace and Disarmament Research (Canada), Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS, United States).

Support from UNIDIR's core funders provides the foundation for all of the Institute's activities.
