This event explores the link between measures that strengthen nuclear security and the efforts to cap and eliminate existing stocks of weapon-usable fissile materials. Speakers will also discuss the progress in securing and eliminating fissile materials that were released in the process of nuclear disarmament and the challenges that these efforts are facing today. Support from UNIDIR core funders provides the foundation for all of the Institute’s activities.
