Nuclear Risk Reduction: Pathways Forward

UNIDIR, together with the governments of Australia, Finland, Sweden, and Switzerland is hosting an event on nuclear weapon risk reduction. The panel discussion will present some of UNIDIR’s preliminary findings from its ongoing research on the topic. Panelists will also consider developments on risk reduction at the multilateral level and examine means of identifying practical measures to reduce the risk of nuclear weapon use. This event is organized on the margins of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly First Committee meeting.
