Hao Wu

Hao Wu is a Graduate Professional with UNIDIR’s Space Security Programme, specializing in international law and policy issues related to space security.

She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public international law at Wuhan University, where her research focuses on State responsibility in outer space law and the legal characterisation of emerging space objects and their associated activities. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Law School of Wuhan University.

Prior to joining UNIDIR, Hao worked as a Legal and External Affairs Intern at the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization, where she supported the organisation’s conferences and events and assisted in drafting official documents. She has also worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of International Law at Wuhan University. Her research has included issues related to mega-constellations and lunar activities.

Hao speaks Mandarin and English and has basic knowledge of Korean and French.
