Susana Pretelt

Research Fellow Space Security

Susana Pretelt is a Research Fellow with UNIDIR’s Space Security Programme. She holds a Master of Laws in Technology and Policy from Georgetown University Law Centre and a Master’s in International Governance and Diplomacy from Sciences Po. Her academic work has explored issues at the intersection of technology, regulation and international cooperation, including artificial intelligence governance, commercial spyware and digital rights.

Alongside her graduate studies, she gained experience in international financial and development institutions, including the International Monetary Fund and Inter-American Development Bank Invest, where she worked on fintech and financial markets. Prior to her graduate studies, she also gained legal experience working in the judiciary.
