Benjamin is a Graduate Professional with the exploratory research cell of the Conventional Arms and Ammunition Programme at UNIDIR.

His expertise spans transnational organized crime, arms control and disarmament, ammunition management and security, the international legal dimensions of peace and conflict, international criminal law and counter-terrorism.

He holds a joint Master of Laws degree in Transnational Crime and Justice from the University for Peace and the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute, as well as a Bachelor of Laws from Strathmore University.

Prior to joining UNIDIR, Benjamin worked at Konrad Adenauer Stiftung on projects supporting law and justice reform in Sub-Saharan Africa. He has also authored and co-authored a number of critical academic papers and blog pieces within his areas of expertise.

Benjamin can speak English, French and Swahili.
