Ritanshu Lohani
Ritanshu Lohani is a Graduate Professional with the UNIDIR Space Security Programme.
She is a recipient of Erasmus Mundus Scholarship for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters in International Law of Global Security, Peace and Development at the University of Glasgow and Leuphana University, Germany (Class of 2024). One of her theses for her joint master’s focuses on the interplay between non-alignment and India’s space programme.
Her research interests include space policy and security, sustainability, space resources, weapons of mass destruction, foreign policy, law, and development, with a particular emphasis on perspectives from developing countries and the Global South.
Prior to joining her master’s program, she worked as a Legislative Assistant to a Member of Parliament (LAMP) Fellow in India. She holds an undergraduate degree in law from Lloyd Law College in India.
She speaks English, Hindi and beginner-level German.
