Luiza Świerzawska

Luiza Świerzawska is a Graduate Professional with UNIDIR’s Security and Technology Programme. She holds a master’s degree in Applied Data Science and a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Utrecht University.  

With a deep academic interest in the intersection of humanities and technology, Luiza has explored how emerging technologies reshape societal and ethical paradigms. Notably, she presented at ICRES 2023: 8th International Conference on Robot Ethics and Standards, delivering a talk titled “How Can We Compare LLMs in Their Current State with the Human Capability of Understanding?” This work was also published in the conference proceedings.

Prior to joining UNIDIR, Luiza interned at the AI tech startup SkillLab, ensuring the company’s AI models adhered to the EU AI Act.

Luiza speaks Polish, English and Dutch.
