Alyssa is a Graduate Professional for UNIDIR’s office of the Directorate. Her research interests include international human rights law, transitional justice mechanisms, conflict studies and economic foreign policy.

Currently, Alyssa is pursuing a Master of Science in Human Rights and Diplomacy from the University of Stirling in Scotland and holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Alabama.

Before joining UNIDIR, Alyssa worked as a contractor for the US Department of State, working on economic foreign policy. She gained extensive experience in policy analysis and research and served as the stakeholder engagement and policy officer for the US office for Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation.

She is fluent in English and has basic knowledge of Spanish.
