Yuanze Xu
Yuanze is a Graduate Professional in the Disarmament and Global Security Programme at UNIDIR. Prior to joining UNIDIR, his professional experience encompassed policy research and international cooperation with institutions such as the Development Research Center of the State Council of China, where he conducted research on new energy vehicles and related security and exporting issues between China and the European Union. He was also working on a research project on Intellectual Properties trust fund at China Credit Trust Co., Ltd.
Yuanze is currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in Public Policy for Sustainable Development at School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University in China and Innovation, Human Development, and Sustainability at the School of Social Sciences, University of Geneva in Switzerland. His research interest is humanities among SDG goals, including gender, inequality and peaceful societies. His year in Geneva is sponsored by China Scholarship Council (CSC).
Yuanze speaks Mandarin (Chinese), English, basic Japanese and has a basic knowledge of French.
