Rabby holds a Bachelors in Management Information System from North South University.
Before joining UNIDIR, he worked as an information management delegate at Finnish Red Cross in Ethiopa supporting the drought affected area, and as a senior information management officer at International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Bangladesh, supporting the forcibly displaced Myanmar nationals. He also served as a consultant at the United Nations.
