Rabby Shakur is an Associate Researcher in the Managing Exits from Armed Conflict initiative at UNIDIR.

His expertise focuses on information management and data management, with a passion for transforming raw data into actionable insights. With a strong foundation in statistics, data visualization and data mining, he brings a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.

Rabby holds a Bachelors in Management Information System from North South University.

Before joining UNIDIR, he worked as an information management delegate at Finnish Red Cross in Ethiopia supporting the drought affected area, and as a senior information management officer at International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Bangladesh, supporting the forcibly displaced Myanmar nationals. He also served as a consultant at the United Nations.
