Arianna is a Graduate Professional with UNIDIR’s Gender and Disarmament Programme. She is currently pursuing an LLM in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights at the Geneva Academy, driven by her passion for advocating gender sensitivity and equality, and combatting Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV).

Arianna holds a Master’s Degree in Law, with a specialization in International Law, from Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome. Her Master’s thesis, written under the guidance of the distinguished Italian International Criminal Court Judge, Rosario Salvatore Aitala, explored the topic of Torture as a Crime against Humanity, with a particular focus on sexualized torture and its intersection with other sexual and gender-based crimes.

Arianna speaks English, Italian, Spanish and French.
