Andrea Gronke
Andrea Gronke is the Deputy Head of the Security and Technology Programme at UNIDIR. Andrea is an experienced international lawyer with particular expertise in international security law and the application of international law in cyberspace. Prior to joining UNIDIR, Andrea spent twelve years working in a variety of legal and policy roles within the Australian Government, including as an Assistant Director in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and a Senior Legal Officer in the Attorney-General’s Department. Andrea also represented Australia as legal adviser on Australia’s delegation to the United Nations Open-Ended Working Group on Cyber.
Andrea holds a Master of Laws (with commendation) specialising in International Law from the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons)/Bachelor of International Relations from Bond University.
