Jack Conneely

Jack is a Graduate Professional in Strategic Communications at UNIDIR. His areas of expertise include gender studies, peacebuilding and conflict reconciliation.

Prior to joining UNIDIR, Jack worked as a Global Support Assistant at International Alert, a global peacebuilding organization, where he provided logistical and research support for various peacebuilding initiatives. He also gained valuable experience as a Researcher both at Ireland’s Think-Tank for Action on Social Change (TASC), focusing on gender and climate justice issues, and at MAKAN, a Palestinian-led educational organization. Additionally, Jack has been heavily involved in Irish-language advocacy programmes, particularly focusing on media participation.

He holds an MSc in Gender, Peace and Security from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in Sociology and Social Policy from Trinity College Dublin.

Jack is fluent in English and Irish and has basic proficiency in French.
