This exploratory research cell examines how conventional arms control measures can help to address the international development and security challenges raised in the Secretary-General’s "Our Common Agenda" initiative.
Established in 2022, this new area of the Conventional Arms and Ammunition Programme aims to identify measures that can be taken at the local, cross-border and subregional levels to tackle development and security challenges.
