Graduate Professionals

Harry Deng

Harry is currently a Graduate Professional in the Security and Technology Programme.

He holds a BA in History and International Studies from Simon Fraser University and a MA in Global Governance from the University of Waterloo. His research primarily focuses on global political economy and digital governance.

Prior to joining UNIDIR, Harry was a Junior Professional Consultant at UN-Habitat and worked a Cyber Security Analyst in the private sector. His most recent publication was a policy brief on Canada's digital trade policy conducted in collaboration with Global Affairs Canada (Ministry of Foreign Affairs). He speaks English, Mandarin, Cantonese and French.
