Beyond the Warhead: Rethinking Nuclear Disarmament Verification

Nuclear disarmament verification is a focus of increasing research. This workshop will introduce verification projects at UNIDIR, the Program on Science and Global Security at Princeton University (USA), and the  Nuclear Verification and Disarmament Group at RWTH Aachen University (Germany). These projects explore new technical tools and policy approaches to the challenges of the verifiable elimination of nuclear warheads and weapon-usable fissile materials. The meeting will be accompanied by a virtual reality experience on verification open to all participants from 09h00 to 18h00. One set will be installed at the lobby of the Council Chamber and a second set will be at room A509.
