Mapping Illicit Small Arms Trafficking

This research project was carried out from January 1999 to May 2000

To examine the main small arms trafficking routes in the world, starting with Central Asia as a consequence of the Afghan conflict, continuing with organized crime in the Russian Federation, the Caucasus and Eastern Europe.
